about Our League
Our league is run by a Commissioner with tremendous help by his Secretary/Treasurer and a family member who is our publisher. We must also thank Design Magicians for helping to design our website.
Beginning this September (2025) we are entering our third year of competition. We are a “No Random Draft”, “No Trade” fantasy football league currently consisting of ten (10) teams. We use a “Modified” ESPN scoring system to publish weekly points for each team.
Play competitively with structured rules.
Our rules are straightforward, easy to understand, and fair to all team owners, leading to an enjoyable weekly competition.
Track performance with live updates.
Each team competes against all other teams every week, and total points for each team are accumulated from each team’s starting lineup. The Commissioner will post weekly points and standings. Owners may check how their players are doing by accessing the ESPN Scoring feature on our website.

Meet the Commissioner
- Experience: 20 years in Sports Management including as a GM, a Manager, and a Coach.
- Experience: 27 years as a Baseball, Fastpitch, and Slowpitch, Umpire.
- Experience: 43 years as a sports team player.
- Experience: 10 years as a Charity Sporting event developer and Chairman.
- Experience: 17 year participant and two-time champion in fantasy leagues.

Cole Townsend
Cole, our Commissioner, is entering his 18th year as manager of the Coleminers Fantasy Sports Team, three years in Rotisserie Baseball and fifteen years in football. He quite often makes the playoffs but has just three championship rings, one in baseball and two in football. Cole is our current Champion.
Donna Townsend
Donna, who is our league’s Secretary/Treasurer, is a fifteen year veteran of fantasy football and has claimed two championship trophies in Mark Wahl’s FANTASY FANATICS FOOTBALL LEAGUE Donna made the playoffs in two of the three leagues she plays in, this past year, including our own ROC CITY LEAGUE.
Mark Wahl
Mark has been the most avid and most successful fantasy football player over the past 14 years, having won the championship three times in his own FANTASY FANATICS LEAGUE and another Championship in our ROC CITY LEAGUE. Mark plays in three fantasy leagues and is the man to beat every year.
Sammy Diprima
Sammy is also a 15 year fantasy football veteran who participates in three different leagues. Sammy always puts together a formidable team and has made the playoffs in our ROC CITY LEAGUE two straight years, barely losing the championship to Mark’s Wolverines in 2023. Sammy is tough to beat.
Ed Townsend
2024 was “Fast Eddie’s” second year in any fantasy league and this past year Ed made the playoffs, barely missing out as the number Three Seed. Ed has become well acclimated to the ins and outs of fantasy football and became a strong contender by year’s end. He will be a force to contend with in the future.
Jordan Grape
This past year was Jordan’s first in the ROC CITY FF CHALLENGE. Jordan proved to be a very tough opponent as he consistently ranked at or near the top of the standings all season long. Jordan lost a close playoff game in our league’s semi-finals and surely will be a favorite to compete for the 2025 Championship Trophy.

Champions & Past Winners Section
Hall of Champions
Both Mark and Sammy put together strong teams. They were seeded numbers Two and
Three entering the playoffs and this was an exciting match. Mark eked out a great win
and has won three Championships in two Fantasy leagues.
Cole was seeded number One most of the year using Free Agency to continuously
improve his team. This proved to be the difference in this championship game as Mark’s
Second Seeded Wolverines came up just a little bit short in his quest for our league’s
second championship. This was Cole’s second Championship in two Fantasy leagues.
